Hopefully get a little time after work tomorrow to have a play with the software. Thinking about making up a cradle to hold my laptop while I drive. Anyone done this? Pics?If you get 10 mins, just go out for a drive and log it. Do a few full throttle runs and save the session. When you get time you can then check the log to see if anything nasty s happening (knock, afr etc).

Dutch is a complete new software for your ecu, you send the ECU to Peter, it costs around 800 euros and takes around a week due to shipping

10 minutes - 75 Euro, i better hurry.
It's bloody expensive isn't it?
Is it worth it? I have 2.2 SC uprated cams, it sounds rich and Idle is not even, very poor throttle response in low revs and especially when cold so the ECU needs a check anyhow

"bloody expensive" was a bit harsh, what i mean is, it's a lot of money for firmware.

You could enquire about alternatives.
- Get a basemap from Courtenay UK, then haul over the car there for final mapping, as their basemap only goes to 5k - Bring it to Hitec Germany.
- Bring it to Klasen Germany.
- Get a stand alone ecu and get that mapped.
Not sure if these will be cheaper.

Probably not, and it's possibly a more enjoyable way of doing it seeing that you can keep on modifying it.

The biggest pull to obdtuner for me was being able to control things your self and not rely on a third party.
but it has probably encouraged me to tune to the level i am currently, as it only required hardware and a bit of time and effort
