When i spoke to them they mentioned without spending a fair bit of time going through their records and actually remembering the car, it was done 4 years ago (customer supplied the parts) its doubtful they can be specific.

I was just hoping he could pull the map as a base, but presume he needs info like, injector size for example but cams, pistons & comp ratio isnt installed in the ecu, he just needs these for what sort of map to install to get it running well enough to perform the learn functions.

The REALLY important part is to know what injectors and what MAP sensor type you have fitted, plus the throttlebody type, as that is where the whole mapping is based upon.

So if unsure, post some pics of these parts and type numbers here. (measure TB inside throat diameter.)

The rest of the engine info is all used to make your base map closer to what you need and less "after tuning" is needed, but the above specs are a must have!

So reporting back, the throttle body is 76mm external, the injectors are blue that is all i can tell and i have no idea how i can tell what map sensor i have.

Don't be surprised if peter says they are not big enough unless you keep the revs low

How many wired are running to your map sensor ??

Wonder if anything has been done to your fuel pressure

Sorry daft question, big enough for what, i have a dyno from cs at 377, but believe its now running 355, not sure why it was dialled down, maybe the injector duty was too high? I have a pro alloy fuel tank and there is an aux external pump with what i believe is a fuel pressure regulator but no gauge.

When you say, how many wired running to my map sensor, could you explain? Sorry think i got it, do you mean how many wires not wired?

A tmap sensor will have 4 wires
A map sensor will have three
Here is a list of map sensors

You might see a part number on it

Personally I only managed 305 hp with the blue vxr injectors keeping the duty cycle bellow 90% ( m62 ) but if the fuel pressure has been altered then you would get more

when the fuel system pressure is increased, fuel pump volume is decreased

Hopefully that should be enough for Peter, thanks for the pointers to get the answers needed :)

I presume once on Peters software i can check injector duty and see if they need an upgrade.

Really curious as to why it was dialled back from 377, i did ask cs but they couldnt remember.

The 90% is also an obdtuner philosophy.

Maybe Courtenay goes up to 100%, and only uses the wideband readout during dyno?

Sold as 360 capable. http://www.courtenay...4/prod_401.html

Yeah i wouldnt be keen on running 100% duty, it was the same when i had rx7's, the tuners then didnt like much above 86 - 87. Something i will have to check and look at upgrading if required.

CS took a hammer to the pressures regulator to increase pressure from what I remember.

Keep DC at 85-90%ish max.

The HP output from dyno's are not to be compared. Dyno's read different so 100% DC on one dyno can reed 360hp while on another dyno you read 320hp..

Go by what the sensors tell you.

Good luck.
