It's the cold that causes the bubbling, not the snow

yes Robin and I have been chatting about if for the last week I'm still in the 911, and its great to see she's back in the fold as the previous owner seems ot have only done 2000 miles in 2 years and never ventured on here R1Rs are great tyres, nearly as good as the A048 on track and very good in the wet, probably as good as the A039 I tried but half the price, they don't; wear terribly well unfortunately I got approx 6000 miles out of the first set of rears purely on road use which wasn't very impressive

Good to know Thanks Mark. Also you can ignore the question about your 911 in my PM I didn't realise it had R1Rs until I got to the services on the way back to Nottingham. They are very good in the wet and not too noisy on the road surface unlike some other more track orientated tyres

Ooh, not been on here in a while... Just been pointed here by Markiii and thought it might be nice just to stick my head in and say hi, since I was the original owner of VXR no.20 before I flogged it to some weirdo I met off the internet. Oddly, he had the same name as Mark too...! Good to see my old car has finally found a good home and is going to be used properly, really pleased for you mate. I hope you enjoy no.20 as much as I did.
