I was tempted enough to phone them up today. Fingers crossed I can shift my Honda tomorrow so I can order my wheels. Thank you D3 YMO for putting me onto this deal. That is a big saving. It seems odd that the tyre element is way more money than the wheels.

Depending on what you are planning using the car for and your budget, look into federal 595 rsr's...there's a few threads going on about them atm...they come to around £335 for a set delivered...there a semi-semi slick type tyre

That's how they claw back the group buy costs. By selling the tyres at a marked up cost.

I've just ordered mine and tyres were very reasonable - AD08s at £113 front and £120 rear (Camskill were £114 and £117 but without delivery and fitting) I spoke to a guy called Nick Smith who was very helpfull.

I had all the fronts, so i know RS are having to recast at the moment. that usually takes 3-5weeks.

I am going to give Camskill a ring in the morning for a price on the R888s. I've got to try and get the best griping tyre I can (just about at the moment) afford. I need to kill the under steer. I nearly schlepped into a curb on a roundabout the other day! That woke me up...

Tweeks have asked me to post the delivery costs. Apparently the price on here is for two wheels and tyres so needs to be doubled for a set of four.

How many fronts do you have JG? I did wonder why they quoted me a five week lead time on a standard 1.2.
