2 very different colours

2 different designs, as well. Totally different rims to Cliffie's initial image and that last one. Weird.

Be little wary of the 1.3s.

One of mine bent badly just driving on the road within 2000 miles and they refused to replace it under warantee. Buying wheels less wide tha mine will probably mean they are stronger but still...

What did you hit?

Nothing in particular. I can only assume they could not cope with potholes. I even sent it back to them to analyse and they agreed it was just plain bent (on the inner barrel) without any witness marks.

They gave a lot of waffle about how Matt Neils car doesnt have any problems. I politely pointed out that roads are often far worse than track, but logic and a sense of responsibility for their design did not seem to sink in.

The colour I am told is Anthracite but it will be the same colour as the image on page 1. That is a photo of the wheel as sent.

Offsets are already confirmed.

Tyr sizes would be 195 45 16 front and 225 40 17 rear.

Wouldn’t the more common sizes be 195/50/16 & 225/45/17?

In any case I’m interested. I’d prefer the silver anthracite to the black anthracite.

Thats what i thought, surely 195/55/16 is actually the closest replacement for the standard 175/55/17?

I've been looking over all options and yes, there are many more choices but it's still not a easy choice.

if I had 16 fronts and the vx was an every day i'd try the Hankooks, theyve made up some massive ground over the last few years and shown alot of the better known manufacturers up with the new tyre labels

Cheers MrSimba they look good but scare me a bit as come heavy rain and snow the tread looks too track orientated, I drive my car 40 miles a day. Dont really fancy stacking it...

I dont really need massive grip on track just tyres that wont dicintergrate... :D
