Unlucky mate, you're ok now though that's the main thing!! Are you able to drop rounds or will it hurt points wise too? Ask joe if he still has my spare doors...? You're welcome to them if he does :)

Already spoken to joe about doors, thanks. There isnt a collective points total for the season, its just trophies on the day so it doesnt matter in that way. just pissed because it was going spot on up to then.

Defo. Id be going under and the thought of paying for over priced wishbones and windscreen replacement would be sending me under! You look to be taking this very well and classing it as part and parcel of racing so good on you. It all looks very professional and you should be pleased with what your achieving.

Doesn't bare thinking about but as soon as i read about it i thought what if it had happened in the S1  :o

I'd like to think it wouldn't happpen in the S1 on a track day. As many people have said racing is totally different to track days. TDT is a novice series and already in the Cadwell race in 35 minutes I had come together with 5 cars, a couple where I had given them a tap up the back end to unsettle them, a couple where I shut the door on someone and one where another competitor deliberately went down the side of the VX. I knew when I started there would be damage, I was prepared for the big damage that has now happened. There's a lot of work but money wise its not too bad. Having the help from Jez and Benny at BoT makes all this possible.

I think we all follow your escapades with much glee and a hint of admiration of what you're doing. After all is said and done, there is a massive diff between real racing and driving round setting fast laps with the ability to ease off at any time not needing to focus 100% throughout. Looking fwd to catch up this week at BoT!
