So far we have done the following: uprated tie rods, Vibra Technics engine mounts, front and rear mount inserts, new std discs with RC6 pads, adj front arb, fire extinguisher, electrical cut out, two sets of TD's (R888's and R1R's), interior out, JK composite seat in, stupidly small steering wheel in,.

To do: Nitrons on, geo/ride height, Zafira gearbox, new clutch and lightened flywheel, gear change cables, splitter, wing, cage (arriving on 8th March), bond the roof on, lots of electrical stuff. Car back to TDi for a power run certificate.

First race is Oulton Park on 30th March, I've got a track day there on 9th March.

As you can see from Goose's photos we did the paint today with 23 rattle cans!!

Recon it needs black pupils in those red headlamps and a set of teeth along the lower clam, will intimidate the other competitors before it even hits the track! Haha

So things are progressing, half way through fitting the cage. Once thats the done the rear window can go back in, roof can be bonded on and the seat and harness put in. Cut the boot floor out, fit the wing supports, bond the rear grilles into the rear clam cut outs, rear clam back on, wing on, geo and ride heights and she'll be ready for a first run out at Abingdon on the 22nd then afternoon testing at Oulton Park on the 29th and the first race on the 30th.

Rear part of cage is in place and holes marked up and the door pin mounting points now seem too far back!!!!! Not to worry, we'll sort it.
