I like them! May I ask how you have them wired?
The ledring comes with a + and - wire.
Turn your lamp upside down, and you see the rubber gromet with access to the small sidelight.
Pull it off, and you should see this:
Just pull off the black connectors (remember where each one was, for reverse references)
One of the 2 wires is yellow after a few centimeters. This is your +
The other one is full black and your -
Just create 2 small flat pins on your ledring wiring, and they slide right in.
With some fiddeling, you should be able to keep all wiring inside the headlight casing.
Reverse to original with 2 minutes work.
To connect the ledring to the casing, i would suggest to use double sided tape.
(not sure how long that will last, but glueing was not on my favorite list, due to damage to the casing)
Downside is that when activating main beam, the sidelight is also activated (thus the ledring)
Still working on regulation, on how to use it properly/legal.

then it'll have to wait 3-10 working days for my rings to be delivered.
I hope you used the ones from my earlier ebay link, as searching for angel eyes you get various versions.
I have another 80mm ring, but as it's slightly wider (8 versus 7 mm), it does not line up as good as the one in my pictures.

Not sure if UK euro regulation is exact same as in NL, but over here:
- DRL (Daytime Running Lights) are allowed oem and after market.
- DRL's may not run together with any of the other lights at the same time. (ie switch off)
- If they do run together, the DRL's have to tone down to 30% of original capacity to be legal.
Still working on all the regulation stuff, so i could be off somewhere.
Wouldn't the simplest option be to use a DRL control module? It would do all the above and aren't a lot of money, 15 to 20 English quids seems to be the going rate.

I didn't, I didn't see the link, I just ordered a generic set only cost £6.35 or something delivered, so I wont complain if they don't fit nicely!

Well if they exist thats the easiest option! Tbh when I fit some I will just power them off the sidelights, I can't really see the harm in having a bit more light at the front of the car, and I seriously doubt you'll get pulled over for it (in the UK atleast).

Does the 30% rule apply to UK?
With it being european legislation... good chance.
