Stop getting obsessed with the existing diagonal line. As long as the last point is in the same place you will get full throttle. You could make the mid throttle far more progressive by dropping the values down. Try it believe me it makes a big differance. See what Mark verboom did to his N/A to give better throttle control. https://www.verboom....15/obdtuner.png

Started to look see what was so wrong with handling of margo at recent Anglesey track day Here is a video of the car at stage 3 late last year and stage 4 at recent national Really shows the lack of corner speed I had They might not of been the quickest laps on each day but shows up the issues I had quite well Or I was getting lazy with the extra power

Chill you are runing gas shocks and standard roll bar  its as good as they are more power will just be making the handling worse .

I've also had a delivery This will be next

when I'm back in the UK I will be able to get some work done on mine, worth booking joint dyno time Chill have you looked at my runs? can't access any here

Nick I've just started looking at some of your files and it's uncanny how your getting a similar dip at exactly the same place but maybe not as dramatic

example        mine is coloured line nicks is grey line

Next im going to get on to the LS4    it worked fine but its not ready for the track it made the car very unstable on and off throttle and especially mid range throttle    so im hoping this can be very much improved but time will tell on this one

I thought power was the answer Lol I'm really debating if I should put the M62 back on and sort the handling issues out and then take it from there As the video shows the extra power with my current setup just caused me a lot of wheel spin and a real lack of confidence in and through the corners

Stage 2 is where it's at ;)

On a serious note, wouldn't you be better just leaving the engine as is and focus time and effort into the handling.

If you really want to reduce wheel spin/power wouldn't it be easier to reduce power with the ECU (ie. just map the throttle to 80% at WOT - it'll be the same at running the M62).

But it could release some £s to spend on the handling mods 300 hp last year was really enjoyable the only way I'm going to really enjoy the extra 50+ hp is buying lots more stuff More expensive tires etc etc I'm just debating in my head if it's actually worth it

My totally honest opinion is that although I keep debating the idea of going for more power and I think I like the idea of it more than the reality when you consider costs and wear and tear etc, we've had conversations to that end and both agreed on a natural point to stop (for me at least). I don't think I'd be able to use the extra power very often and even on tracks it's only long straights where it realy pays off. Looking at your A/B video theres really not much in it for the additional sacrifice. With your forged engine spec you could run a very robust and reliable circa 300bhp and the money you got for the Harrop would pay for a more serious suspension kit (NTR, Blacks). Add a rack rebuild, bushes/links and an expert geo and you should have a car that can handle any way you prefer, and will be nicer to drive as well as just faster.

you know, ive often thought about what kinda stage my is and how its totally not needed for the same enjoyment..

if i was to do it again i would probably go for a stage 2 charged max with a good suspension/tyres brakes etc setup or.... just leave a NA totally standard but change just the pads (or change whatever was needed to eliminate brake fade)

If your running the Harrop you really do need all the bits working to get the most out of the car, these bits really mean suspension has too be up to it, Anti roll bar, bushes. geo. The power shows up any weakness in the car. if finances allow I would ditch the Gaz to start with and get something which works, go for best price/quality I am afraid Gaz don't make it IMHO. Anyone got feedback on Quantum Zero's

If you want to do it properly and I know you want your car done right, for me it's a 4 way shootout. Quantum Nitron Online Penske I'm pretty sure there'll be little between them in terms of quality so you'll be happy with whatever you choose. Getting them set up properly will be more important than the brand. I love my Quantum's with softer springs. My mates S1 has nitrons and they suck on the road because of crazy spring rates but on a track they are sensational.

I wouldn't get gaz

Is that due to quality concerns or performance?

Both really, I will always have that doubt in my mind they will break. Also I think nitron or quantum is better performance but cost more I believe all in my honest opinion off course and people who run them will beg to differ with me I'm sure
