WTF are you talking about, I made a unique change to my car only, noticed an unexpected improvement from it and mentioned it as it might help someone on here. Nowhere in any of that work did I read something online. It was a pure side effect from my own experimentation.

uh...

it is common place to counter balance axel weights with ballast on front/rear biased cars, and has been done numerouos times to great effect over the years, from Hillman Imps to Porsches.

Positive thoughts on how you could improve your lap times - Looking at the videos, a lot of the time you could probably have been one gear higher and used the torque to achieve similar acceleration. The combination of engine braking and high power at high revs looked as though it was tricky to manage, particularly with other cars around. I don't know the track, but if you look at the area where you downchange to third, then straight to second over the crest, your apex speed is much lower than it needs to be. Then you hit the gas and wheelspin on exit. You also come completely off the throttle suddenly on fast corners, rather than blending out as you turn in, so you are putting a significant change in forces through the chassis and tyres, just as the car is about to load up into into the corner. Track driving is about smooth....

Not saying I could actually have done any of the above if I was driving - your car is more of a beast than mine and I have no idea how manageable it is.

Ok just a little update,

shocks are going to Gaz tomorrow so they can dyno test them, they are ridiculaSLY soft ( not like before) despite having heavy springs on them, when at angelsey the knobs would not budge and didnt want to risk breaking somthing half way through a trackday

i managed to free them off today ( the more you turn them the loser they seem to get )

going to take them off the car tomoz and record where each shock came off the car and send them off

It would also appear the RSRs took a real battering at angelsey wearing the inside edge of the drivers front right down and the outer edge of the drivers side,

so its time for some new tires i think i will be going for a set of 888 next not the R888R

To much camber ? don't think Chris is running that much camber  .RSRs  i would say a few people have had similar problems the side walls to soft .

Must say I have had these fronts on the car for 2 1/2 years so they owe me nothing

And have been a good tire

It will go some way in explaining the lack of turn in and corner speed
And wash out if you push to hard in the
I think I also mention the inside of the drivers side is a lot worse than this

This pis shows the hole tire

Posted Image

And you can see the tread is completely gone compared with other side
