I used all the lube too but it all squirted out as soon as I did it up. With the clonky window, rattling pads and squeaking hardtop, I can live with one more squeak.

With the 1" ARB and the nylatron mounts from EP make sure you ream out the mounts so the bar fits snug, but not clamped tight, when the bar and nylatron mounts are inside the horseshoe-shaped piece that holds it together. Not too hard, just take your time before bolting it onto the car to make sure it can rotate smoothly inside the mounts.

Normally the hole in the nylatron mounts tend to be a little under-sized and that means that when it's all pushed into the mount and done up the bar gets clamped down hard and it won't rotate freely. Also this means that any movement gives a squeeking/grinding noise.

Bye, Arno.

Cheers for the heads up Arno will take it off the toe links and make sure there is free movement of not I will alter the mounts The squeak doesn't bother me but I will make sure there is movement 👍

it didnt like that much,, when to do a fuel learn session, ended up p1514, cylcing of the throttle 1500-2000 rpm rough running tried to upload a log but too big so the board keeps saying..

I've just sent you a PM nick Did you change the pressure range when you put the smaller pulley on ? Also you need to Follow this Just thought I would share this for anyone who is running out of graph in pressure range and needs to change the pressure range So when you increase the pressure range from 12-240 to 13-260, it will make your engine run about 8% leaner. To compensate, you can simply select the whole fuel table by right clicking and clicking select all. Then use Edit->Edit selection % and make it 8% richer. For the ignition I would lower the whole table around 1-2 degree and then recalibrate it using the power measurement tool.

Experienced the full wrath of Chris' car in its current state of tune this evening, felt like my head was going to explode with the acceleration. Unreal performance.

Chris What is the ID of the hole?

Its around 58mm

but the clam has a lip on the inside which will allow me to jubilee clip some ducting to probably up to 70mm if its flexible enough

i may find something solid to sit inside the hole so the jubilee clips dont crush the clam

Croft prep done However I havent put the brake cooling ducts in due to the pipe work not turning up Emergency repairs on the headlight bracket And also my wires on the obd port on the car have parted company so I've also repaired that I'm going to do something with the port maybe with a solid backing as it's just floating around at the moment and adding the software plug all the time and it hanging must be taking its toll on the wires

Funny I had the same issue a couple of days ago, did a repair but bot happy with it really, wonder if I can get another port and extend the wires to somewhere on the pax side as you said fixed under the dash.
