I asume you're not on an obdtuner pro beta, but talking about 2.7.9 versus 2.7.7?
Maybe open your map(s) on both versions and see.

Think Chill talks not about mapping changes, but more the difference in power measurement oucome 2.7.9 vs his older 2.7.7 numbers...

The power management run is executed via the ecu only. (with the run variables entered from the client) The result file is then pulled from the ecu for analysis by the client. That file can be opened by both versions.

But the power calculation is in the client software... I have an even older OBD version (where you can manually input injector parameter values. ) saved somewhere that gives different power numbers from the same logged powerrun than later versions.

Yes, hence my remark to open the file in both 2.7.7 and 2.7.9.

That would be an easy way to see where the differences are. Post the powerrun log for us.
(I have the 2.7.1.6 version on my laptop and an even older one saved somewhere. )

Normally a hard knock or something that needs corrected (by the ecu) can result in going to a second safe map in the ecu (the ecu uses this map as a safe base map to prevent damage). I dont think this is in our ECU's though. We only have the safefail with temps (the 57C thing).
1.1 bar @ 80% DC should be ~370bhp according the calculator. Keep in mind you ran rich at 11.2:1 so some lost horses there.
Can you post the transient map you use now?
What were your wheelHP numbers btw?
Inlet temps during the RR run? Some retarding because of hot temps?
Posted 07 March 2016 - 06:12 PM
there was no retarding from heat on the RR the temps were very low and ive had all these safetys removed
the new power is 365PK so lines up with the calculation you are making
i now have 11.8 afr
Posted 07 March 2016 - 06:24 PM
im going to email Peter to see if there was a reason the ecu would store and keep the retardation
if thats the case
Posted 07 March 2016 - 06:28 PM
there was also a error code but no eml light
so probably the reason why it was still there today
