Obviously designed for clockwise tracks.
- would be interested in hearing the response from Toyo, these tyres certainly don't look like they would displace water at the same rate -

even on the road they seem to have more straight line grip than the RSRs but cant really tell you more than that on the road,
roll on anglesey
Posted 15 April 2016 - 04:31 PM
well they would , RSR compared to r888r tyre with a compound about 2-3 times softer
have a look at the federal fz201 instead
Posted 15 April 2016 - 04:35 PM
well they would , RSR is a MSA class 1a , the other 1b tyre with a compound about 2-3 times softer
probably means these will wear out rather then just losing the shoulder
ive got rid of two sets of RSRs with loads of tread left on them but they lose the byte in to corners
but i am going to get a other set of wheels for the car and get the RSRs put on one set for the road as there more than up to the job on the road and just use the R888R tire for track day days
as the RSRs are a fraction of the price of the R888Rs

i did but there marked as competition use only
i also looked at a set of the nankang AR1 and the rubber on these felt considerbly softer than the RSRs and R888Rs
and the price of these is silly

Did you actually have any competition whilst on track? You just seemed to be leaving everything for dead
