After a very successful day at Anglesey
And a good look over the car
Brake pads are a little low so need to order a other set of RS14 probably not put them on for the next track day but will be taking them with me just incase
I have been thinking very hard about Carbon brake kits like these
Has anyone used or have any expierence of these as 4 k is a big investment on brakes but they also have a lot of weight saving to
And if they last 100,000 miles I would get my money back eventually ( man maths )
Other things which are still in my mind is WI and pro version of software
I'm also thinking of getting a second set of wheels so I can do some back to back testing with the RSRs and R888Rs
And I've been thinking of reducing to noise from the car using somthing like these
https://youtu.be/afwdv3Qwdpk
Do if anyone has any expierence with these please let me know

What are you expecting the carbon disks to do for you Chris? (besides the weightsaving in your wallet?)

I spoke to a specialist exhaust company in Daventry about doing similar a few years ago. They said they'd have to do some spectrum analysis on the car to work out what sound frequency was the worst offender and try and fit a suitably sized Helmholtz/quarter wave resonator to try and dampen that frequency. There's science behind it and not just a case of throwing a blocked off pipe at the car, especially with our packaging problems. Will dig out their details but it started to sound quite expensive and only addressed a narrow band of the noise so I haven't progressed it further as yet.
Got a perforated tube modification suggested by another guy to try first, when I can be arsed to remove the rear box and open it up again after running out of time before Spa last year when repacking it.

I should have written chill in that I know they save weight, but would like to hear from chill what he is expecting from that change.

Expecting them to have the rotational saving of weight and them to last long enough to pay for them selves And the weight saving should give me more performance and lower laptimes The only other thing I could do is start playing with aero and weight savingI should have written chill in that I know they save weight, but would like to hear from chill what he is expecting from that change.

When i google for carbon disks and track use, i see various owners reverting back to steel, due to longitivity.
I would suggest you read up on it before spending.
