Your new rears will probably appreciate you not having WI.I think the water injection might have to wait

Not doing it for the extra power Just don't want to lose lots of power after a couple of laps If I'm Being honest I think 300 ish hp is more than enough in a vx, but it does really push my ability with more and find it quite a challenge to driveYour new rears will probably appreciate you not having WI.I think the water injection might have to wait

Might try zzr on the rear whilst keeping the r888r on the front as they still have plenty of life left in themYour new rears will probably appreciate you not having WI.I think the water injection might have to wait

I actually think the car is just over 310-320 hp after a few laps when things start to get to hot
Do you monitor what you reach on track?

Bigger pulley more ignition
less boost
less heat
change in AFR targets
same power hopefully

Wasn't about any extra power. If having WI means you stay out another 5 or 10 minutes at a time, given the way you already massacre your tyres, they're not going to be any happier about it. Maybe fit the water sprayers in your rear arches for tyre cooling?

Or bigger wheels and tyres to deal with the extra power they're trying to deal with?
maybe i need more finesse with the right foot

This, I've mentioned it before.
You'll get more grip, more contact patch, more area to dissipate heat, less sidewall flex (due to lower profile), longer endurance on track, more even wear (due to tyre not rolling over), longer overall life. That's a lot of benefits, all on (arguably) the single more influential part for carrying speed.
Just look at all the cars there are in the world, there really can't be many cars which have circa 400 BHP/Ton yet only have skinny 225 mm or 245 rear tyres. Most would likely be in the 285 to 355 rear tyre width region.

A lot of these fast vx's still look like road cars.
It's pretty drastic to cut the arches and put on some pastic extenders, or put on a GMS clam.

TBH nev unless i decide to take the car of the road im still tempted to go back to the M62 charger if i do stay with the harrop the car will probably be towed
add a load of down force added and run slicks and turned to a track car so can remove windows heaters etc and also make it lighter
this is not something im keen on doing but the car is currently to much for the road and is a real challenge to drive on the narrow 225 tires on track (which i dont moan about as much as other people) so actually think going back to the M62 might bring the car back to a good road car and a capable track car
will make final decision on that end of year
