Due to work commitments before zandvoort I think the water injection might have to wait PRE ZANDVOORT LIST

Are you doing Zandvoort on 13-14th? I'm doing 13th as I'm working over there the week before. Would be good to see you.
The track day is on the 12th August I will be there on 11 -13th

My car has a wiper blade like this

It has the washer jets on the blade
It is a hook system

I've solved the issue But the espace blade would not work because of the link in the arm So just took the blade out and put it in the old frame Thanks Tom Next time I will just get a 600mm 24" rubber and just swap it over

I've been thinking about zandvoort target time think a 2 min flat will be a great target but will be 4 seconds quicker than last year so will be a tall order so I'm going to say if the weather is good anything below 2.02 will be a result

What a day at the circuit yesterday
I've never been so worried about my car failing as I was very un prepared for this event but the car has held up so far and only the trip home left

Posted Image

I did hit my target on the last run of a very hammered day
Most of the sc cars were having issues with the sound limits so after the first session I had no choice after my warning to lift down the straights
But on my last run that was my opportunity to see if I was going to hit the target time
😜
Which I am happy I did which made my day
Just hope I have some god footage as my camera did have a hissy fit
Great trip great people brilliant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The unfortunate thing Stefan that particular lap my top speed down the straight was only 134 mph down the straight due to one of the v6 exiges not moving over yellow one on German plates

That's the main problem with LOT days and trying to get a fast lap in. (i've given up) I use other trackdays that use euro rules for that.

So... same question as usual...

How did you find the ZZR's vs the R888R's? Did they survive better?

The R888R had great grip but they don't last long but you have to work very hard to get a goodbye one out of them , they are more unstable ZZR first thoughts very stable tire good grip didn't have to work as hard with them not checked the wear yet just got home I didn't find the limits of these tires yet

I've got no video footage Gutted Need to get the car quieter again it had a drive by of 98 Db and zandvoort so putting the wire wool had tipped it over again So I've just ordered a flared 90 degree bend so I can turn the exhaust exit away from the sound sensors and i will also be able to put a Db reducer in the bend Will also be getting some of this stuff http://www.powersprint.eu/daemm-matten After speaking to eelco at zandvoort seems to have a higher temp level

I've been looking at my data and where I don't like looking a theoretical lap times based on a session
I had a look
And did have a theory lap time of a 1:58.1

Posted Image

Also the top speeds of my fastest lap were very low due to traffic

Posted Image

But I am overall very happy with my actual fastest lap of a 2:01.1 since it was a last session shoot out because of the black flags
