Nah that's well achievable. I'm only 2 tenths off that and Cadwell has three or four good power straights so weather permitting you should have that.

I will try and pop down on Saturday and say hello/watch as I'm only 15mins away.
I was there last Saturday and got down to a 1;47 with a passenger in the mk2 mx5 (dyno proven 87hp @ hubs)

sounds like the pressure is on to get a quicker time,
feel quite apprehensive about cadwell it seem a monster of a track when i was there in a NA
soon as this one is over i will be entering my first sprint, and with a bit of look it will be croft

Don't put too much pressure on yourself it will only stress you out. Just focus on getting a nice flow going and the lap times will come. One piece of advice for you if you have never driven Cadwell before, be careful how hard you attack the top of the mountain, with your level of power you could quite easily get all 4 wheels off the floor.
yeah car went very light there when i was a NA and i didnt go below a 1:50
i was still on standard wheels and tires
i actually think a 1:43 is still a fast time
even cliffie in his time attack car only managed a 1:37 in 2013 and darron managed a 1:47

cliffies fastest top speed was 126 mph so will be interesting how fast mine goes considering his higher corner speeds

Anything sub 1;50 at Cadwell is good, anything sub 1;45 is damn brilliant, and sub 1;40 you are a national treasure! 1;39 is my target this year, but will take some seat time to get it! Dan
If you come bring your helmet, would love some pointers and special lines and track secrets
