i was very calm all through the day, i had mentally gone through it that many times, nailed every single start, couldn't get on full throttle in 1st gear.
i was very surprised how much grip there was from the off and after tower things were fine,
the tires are very good but are so very very different to the ZZRs after my first run i was a bit worried about he tires but they came through

Do you think you were faster than Friday or is a 1:33 sprint lap comparable to a 1:35 total lap?

yes miles faster, i will try and setup a video lap from the first corner to the finish line (track day v 1 lap sprint), i reckon its at least a second quicker than what i did on friday on the knackered ZZrs, and considering this is a standing start lap on cold tires and cold brakes i think it shows what i can actually do if i put my mind to it,

Congrats laps look good..... great to see that your holding the wheel correctly. Trying to correct those little snaps of over-steer you get on the limit with you hands at 10 to 2 would be very tricky.
Car looks so bloody fast

Not sure a BGW is going to help, it's the slow(er) speed corners you need to focus on. What happens to your class if you were to fit slicks or just add wider tyres?
My point of reference around Croft is the youtube clip below. This is in a 1.6 140bhp (flywheel), 600kg (with driver) Caterham on AO48's (the same spec as mine but with a good driver).
Just watching it back to back with your lap the place you're losing time vs this guy is around the slower sunny-in and sunny-out. The Caterham just has more mechanical grip in the slow speed corners, hence the suggestion that more grip might be the right area to focus on?

i have got plans to go for a wider tire at the rear in the winter, the car is very much on its nose which normally i dont mind but the rear is very lose especially on the brakes but this has been something which has been introduced since switching to the R888Rs, but what should not be forgotten is to remember im not getting them up to full operating temps in the single lap.

I take it you were one of very few not coming on a trailor?
