Looks like the car is more stable/understeery, means you're fighting it less and going faster.

Hi,
My car came with a front splitter on it, do you know if mine is functional or for aesthetics? Does it have to be a certain shape for it to creat down force?
It's currently 10.5 - 11cm from the floor.

Front splitter is very height dependant. At 10.5 CM it won't be doing much at a guess until you are doing about 120 leptons. If you dropped it 3 or 4 CM it would make a big difference if my experimentation is anything to go by.

Moving on to the second half of my weekend the sprint

Managed to get 7th overall and first in class, even though there was only two of us entered for that particular round,
I was not going to go to this round but jumped on last minute because of the fact there was potential to score some good points, but it would appear that I was not the only one to think that,

The surface was terrible at kendrew and really added a new challenge on the concrete sections

Here is one of my runs where I got it wrong

The biggest issue I founded for the day was the track layout every part of the track looks exactly the same as the rest of the track

This was not helped by the hours of looking at last years track videos to find the track different on the day

Picking a braking point was also difficult on the main straight when all you have for reference points was a cone on the apex of the corner

So overall it was a real challenge

Fasted to lap of the day

too stiff rear suspension

Spring would certainly of helped on that's surface
I also had a lot of understeer in certain places

Looks like Dale who's looking like my main competitor in sprint surface had upgraded his car

B718ADAE-F047-4095-8329-FEDD985BB021_zps

Which still falls in to the same class, as would his McLaren in the garage

So how much difference would you say the aero made out of interest? Do you have any plans for any side skirts, maybe the box edge style ones which would close of the sides?

ITs hard to quantify how much it helped I think I went some 2 seconds quicker than last time I was there but I've also had wider wheel since then and moved from worn Zzr to some slightly worn R888Rs
I see this just as a other step for the car and hope to improve even more

The car was stable that's all I can say

He was on the harrop by then

Not sure why he never set a time in the main event, this was his quality time

because he went over the rumble strip and the fuel cut off triggered and he had to abandon it.. of cause where he stopped was safe enough for the round to carry on.. we didnt know what it was until he got back .

Good one Chris. As you trailer the car, can you switch to slick tyres?

I have to use Emarked tires for sprinting and can't warrant ab a other set of wheels and tires

I really like Blyton. Seems to get a bad press but it’s got a good mix of corners and it’s short enough to get to grips with the layout pretty quickly.

You can test at Blyton you know Chris, £200 for half a day. Last time I was there I was on my own so could have any configuration I wanted.
