Like I said in my Facebook message what could you even remotely replace it with for the money?
How about ditching the screen, doors etc and going for that 2-11 style superlight spec!

clam, crashbox, rad, front under tray, bonnet hinge - usual stuff
windsceen is a pain, but not the end of the world
looks like an easy fix so far, got any pics of the brake and clutch master cylinders ?

Strip the front to see the real damage. Crashbox doesn't look to be harmed that much... (only the flat bottom where the stud is ripped out?)

The first time you use your wipers it will be ruined. Polycarb scratches easily.

Or maybe go for a heated windscreen option; although that probably comes without the surround and must be transferred over. Heated is nice on track!

it's surprising how easy the front end is to change on a vx, most parts are simply bolt on and even gluing another crashbox on is not difficult
