it's surprising how easy the front end is to change on a vx, most parts are simply bolt on and even gluing another crashbox on is not difficult :)

It's the cutting off of the old crashbox and cleaning up the mating/bonding surfaces that's highly annoying though! :D

Bye, Arno.

even cutting the old one off isnt that bad (if you dont intend to reuse it. getting one off to reuse on the otherhand...

i know the opinion of repo crashboxes, but if considering one, try 'North Plastics' based in greece. they are an actual Composite manufacting company (not a backshed Job) and make excellent stuff. i think their repo crash box costs €300. same guys i got my GT3 Body from.

The surrounds are bonded to the screens.
So unless you can try and remove it... it's one use.

I know at this stage the horse has bolted but to alleviate your lack of front splitter, would dive planes help? Possibly more secure to mount?

It was the rear of the car which got away from me I need the last kink before the finish which normally wouldent be a issue
My issue was the finish line was closer than I expected and also closer to the solid white line than I thought it should be
I Was completely flat in 4th gear going in tin the link lost the rear slightly
Corrected and before I new it I had hit the A frame with the chequered board on it

Unfortunately I also took out 2k worth of timing equipment which was not found

I can see how that would be very easy to do, especially as its so narrow.

Not the greatest place to have them tbh, the noise must have been horrible!!

INvestigated the lack of clutch pedal and strangely it's in the gearbox so it's got to come out

If you're getting an S2 heated screen which will have a black surround, surely the path of least resistance is just to wrap that back to silver ?

Colour really dosent matter
What' I don't like is the heated screen dosent have a sorround vertually impossible to take the old one off in one piece
