I believe they keep the main spring fully extended when on full droop, Its well worth getting the Geo sorted, go to some who knows what they are doing, Plenty of recommendations on here .

Blink charge £125 for geo though it might be less if not much needs changing. As you have had a previous geo you might only need the toe checking.

Cheers Martin will give them a call, I think ride heights etc want looking at, I was very low on my old shock and regularly grounded out on road and track ( shocks were very worn) So maybe a full setup is required,

A lot of time setting up geo is messing with the camber shims. If these don't need changing hight and toe take no time on a proper lift and laser alignment. Best give them a call they are only in Winsford.

  snapped the bolts? I've heard it before but seriously don't see how. I've bent both plates and not by a small amount without breaking the bolts....usual case of user error rather than a fault with the tool.

I also bent the plates I think that if it gets that far again I will undo them and start again Came out easy in second go after braking the bolts

Ok car is back on the road, And im getting brave, After installing new injectors I have re learned fuel table and done the ignition learn on the Dutch ECU software, Today I have been playing with different ignition setting and has managed to squeeze extra ponys out of the car, I like the fact you can change the so many different ignition settings and its not as hard as I guessed it would be, So I am slowly building a ignition/ retard map which has different values/settings Rain has stopped play today but hoping to get the made up ignition retard tested ASAP Them fine tune that again Just got to be careful of knock, What percentage of knock is acceptable??? Dutch ECU instructions say no more than 0.5% Any thoughts on this This program is great

You can map it on track once you have done the 0-4000 RPM range in the way to track, Only thing is you can't switch car off

I read it a thousand times but you really don't learn anything until you do it. Worst case We could get to the national hotel early on Friday and go and fine tune things

The ignition tuning is quite straight forward once you get started and do a few runs. Unfortunately there were no gains for me due to the high compression I needed to retard the engine a little to prevent knock retard. Proper knock will look like a tower block on the graph rather than a very thin spike. Did you get the power run thing sorted so you can use 2nd gear?
