Yup. And better yet, at a casual glance, it'll still look like you're running one. It'll be interesting to see if you can eek out any power gains from it with some more learning. De-cat'ing mine did absolutely nothing for the power and may even have lost a little.

why not disable it?

You will want an O2 sensor spacer to take it out the flow of the exhaust. Readings will be off now there's no cat doing its job. Or get the O2 cheater from slindborg which will take some work but makes the ecu think there's a cat in place.
is that like a nut on the end of the lambda

The bigger HJS cats are good quality BTW, I had a 100 cell one that survived in Nipper fine.

i have got a error code P0141 second lamda i think, is this because there is no CAT
You have still got your post cat sensor installed and connected up, haven't you? That's a fault code related to the heater circuit in the lambda which would point to the lambda not being powered up. Good that it's not pinging up an EML though. But no EML
Didn't work on the VX or a different one on a previous Audi. You will want an O2 sensor spacer to take it out the flow of the exhaust.

Yes is still connected up,
theres two options i think
1. Lambda got broke by cat breakage,
2. i broke it when i took it out to get the CAT out.
can i just leave this diconnected, as i have the catalyst check disabled

No, you need the second sensor.
I have faced this. I didnt have the second one on the previous CMS map as it is disabled but witht he obdtuner software it needs the second one. So I am off to get a bung fitted into my car soon. You couldput a cheater in, but you would be better off with an actual sensor and letting the software do its job.
If your map expects a CAT and now you dont, it will bring up an error code to you.
