i have got a error code P0141 second lamda i think, is this because there is no CAT

But no EML

You have still got your post cat sensor installed and connected up, haven't you? That's a fault code related to the heater circuit in the lambda which would point to the lambda not being powered up. Good that it's not pinging up an EML though.

You will want an O2 sensor spacer to take it out the flow of the exhaust.

Didn't work on the VX or a different one on a previous Audi.
Yes is still connected up,    theres two options i think   1. Lambda got broke by cat breakage,  2. i broke it when i took it out to get the CAT out.   can i just leave this diconnected, as i have the catalyst check disabled
No, you need the second sensor.   I have faced this. I didnt have the second one on the previous CMS map as it is disabled but witht he obdtuner software it needs the second one. So I am off to get a bung fitted into my car soon. You couldput a cheater in, but you would be better off with an actual sensor and letting the software do its job.   If your map expects a CAT and now you dont, it will bring up an error code to you.
Cleared error code before I did learn session, It didn't come back so I think it had something to do with me having to start up the car with no exhaust or sensors in. I had to do this to put car on bricks so I could get jack under Thanks for advice

This is how much the fueling has changed from having a CAT and not having a CAT

fuel correction is the number after the / in each box

Did you ask Peter why it is required?

Here is a graph showing improvements from the map this morning (which is the map before the CAT broke) but without the CAT

after a fuel learn session only.

look like quite a difference in the maps :)

I didnt as a "why" to peter, he just said it was needed, the way he phrased it was as a safety parameter for checking the first is ok.

Seeing as my exhaust is coming off for the wideband (and to get a singlepipe) I may as well fit the second lambda.

at the time of rods I ended up doing cams, pistons a new head, new clutch, new oil pump, new water pump, engine mouns etc etc etc.

I would much rather have the engine out once and know all is ok in there.

-might be worth putting a saab sump on it as well at the same time?

-lightened fly if you havent got one

-cam chain renew

Just limit your rpm to 6400 should do the trick.
