Why not leave the fuel pipes standard?

I've never liked them so close to the alternator and belt, It's worried me since I did the SC last year

just get a belt cover off JG, easier to fit, no worries doing it wrong and it looks decent.

This was from a post I put up a while ago. Ive been doing a bit of ringing around trying to get the best quote for these fuel lines and fittings and this place http://www.jjcraceandrally.com/ quoted me this. Part# Description Quan Price Total APSGB0721-6 SL200-06-FT APS STAINLESS FUEL HOSE -6 PER FOOT 10 2.88 28.80 APSGBE0209-9006 SL1090-06-311 APS 90 DEGREE REUSEABLE 2 9.65 19.30 SWIVEL HOSE END -6 JIC APSGBE0209-06 SL1000-06-311 APS STRAIGHT REUSEABLE 3 3.31 9.93 SWIVEL HOSE END -6 JIC MOCHEF7-6-5 FEMALE STRAIGHT SWIVEL. 1 1.91 1.91 APSGBAN924-6 SL924-06-011 APS BULKHEAD NUT -6 JIC 2 1.54 3.08 APSGBAN832-6 SL832-06-011 APS MALE BULKHEAD FITTING -6 JIC 2 3.28 6.56 MOCHC1-1 WORM DRIVE HOSE CLAMP .37-.62IN. 6 0.26 1.56 S/C31308 RUBBER LINED P CLIP 15.9MM. SELL IN PACK OF 1 5.40 5.40 10. UK Express 0.00 76.54 15.30 Subtotal (Excl. Vat) £ Vat @ 20% Total Quoted £ 91.84 Ive took the parts from the list that Rally supplied me with so if this looks different its because there was different colours ordered on the other one meaning it looked like there was more parts. With this its the colour which you quote to the company that you would like. To get this deal just quote my name Luke Richardson and the quote number 5373996 EXP DATE 19/04/2013 Just to also let you know that this only goes back to the oem filter. You also need to order the adapters for the fuel rail from USA for this but i think JG has some of these in the pipe line.

Think they where the ones I ordered off eBay.

With one of the adaptors you buy it has a ribbed affect on it which you have to slide the other fuel line over then put a jubilee clip on to be double safe it doesn't come off. Basically you just have to cut into it and then heat it loads so that it slides over enough. You also have to make 2 brackets up, one for keeping the fuel lines straight from the fuel filter and then a second one from the fuel rail to keep them straight.

The fittings exist to go right back to the tank with aeroquip (or similar copies) fitting and braded hose.

I must admit i don't like that return coupling into the plasic pipe at all. Actually i don't really like the jublee clip on the high pressue either but that will probably be ok (it wouldn't pass any MSA inspection)

I never managed to get one of those belt covers off JG.  Wanted one so I don't feel the need to do fuel lines but may come to it.
