Its the same for methanol drinkers.  Its all about metabolites.  The ethanol takes the place in the metabolic cycle and stops the methanol / glycol being metabolised into something nasty.  In the mean time your body does a pretty good job of getting rid of it, then you have to sober up.

Hope you are feeling better today. Are you banned from working on it for a while? Did Peter look over the logs for you?

Hope you are ok and your kidney is in one piece. You are not the only one to get a mouth full of coolant trying to bleed the system but you are the only one I know that drank it!

Buy a cheap fluid extractor saves a trip to A&E  LOL

Cams make a big difference tick over is lumpy but steady make it sound like a muscle car, Feels quicker but it's been that long since I drove it who knows, Going to do a fuel learn session this afternoon to check fuelling Not going to mess with ignition until I have a lot more miles on the engine but it is currently set very low

Just a little update,

engine is running strong got around 300 miles on the clock and carried out a oil and filter change nearly killed myself with coolant sent a few logging sessions to peter and a few fuel learn sessions,

idle is good even when icey outside but a little lumpy but i would expect this due to cams,

below 2000 RPM i am getting cam overlap which has got a little better with a good fuel learn session but i dont think i will eradicate it completely

Overall very happy and it pulls like a train

rallly

Apart from a massive head ache from exhaust which i am taking off today, Hopefully repack it It feels fine, going to start getting good low rev fueling and get a wideband connected for WOT fueling, after fueling see what I can do with ignition then get on a few track days before the national.
