Ok i set out today to get a full fuel learn session in but things did not go to plan,
went for a short drive with scanguage connected just to check a few things out with the tmap sensor and afr
just to confirm all is well and it was so things started well.
decided to do a fuel learn session but i could not under any circumstances get my laptop to talk to my ECU so after dissconecting everything squirting all the connections and trying again still no joy. I put my scanguage back in to see if all was well with that it wasent, sh*t my heart sunk looms and ecu failure went through my mind,
after diconnecting the scanguage again i noticed one of the wires from the obd port had broken off so out came my soldering iron with me upside down in the footwell burning every finger with a lot of blood in my head after a hour or so i managed to get the connection remade only to notice the one next to it had broken off to so a further hour or so i managed to get this sorted at this point i was not 100% if this was my original problem so i connected up scanguage again to see if it worked
It seemed to take a long to to connect but it did so i reconnected the obd lead an my laptop and tested i held my breath NO i didnt work. So i went to connect up the scanguage only to notice a other broken cable at this point i was pissed.
so i made a cup of T
and then got back to it repaired the wire and all was good everything talking to everything else as it should.
so i warmed the car up and did a good logging session for Peter to have a look over everything
only to get a little more bad news
rather my fuel pressure is wrong or i need bigger injectors (currently on the 470 blues)
im at 90% at 6700 RPMs
so i need to check my fuel pressure does anyone no how to do this and what equipment do i need to check it??
so to round up the day it was terrible nothing achieved, loads of problems, and potentially a fuel pressure problem or i need bigger injectors.
can anyone give me any idea of how much power the blue injectors should produce ??
