Don't see what difference it would make really plus the car is correctly cooled rather than relying on fans. Though certain points in the rev range would be easier to hit.

At least they're easy fixes. Be sure to check just how much front brake pad is left, they're only about 10 mm thick to start with.

Says less than 1.5 mm on mot cert I've ordered pads from camskill These 1155 are poor at lasting I'm getting around 1300 miles out of a set including 2 trackdays.

I've had about 10k out of my 1155s, including some track :lol: Good job you didn't opt for 1144s, they are supposed to have a much shorter lifespan than the 55s

I upgraded from 1144 but there is not a lot of difference how long they last

Why expect a lifespan on pads when tracking?

Just stock them. Those 55´s are cheap anyway.

1.5mm is minimum thickness. Are they really that low? Easy thing to check on a Pre MOT look over! ;)

I was that worried about other things like emissions as I have no cat But Dutch software still passed emissions which was a good thing I didn't think they were that low but hey ho As soon as they arrive I will get them on and back to the station and then think about getting ready for croft

That's good news if the emission flew through as I've got similar setup and was worrying about mot time.

I think the OBT Tuner operates in much wider closed loop conditions than the original map, meaning it'll run leaner at low load. At least that's based off my antidotal experiences with the software on my car.

2 track days and that's it Kieran But I like them

 

Just replaced mine with Performance Friction the last set lasted nearly 19 months, They did muller two sets of cheap discs. LOL, At over £300 they want to last
