Sun is shinning so i have been working on my mapping,

Bit of good news the new transient settings peter has sent me makes the car feel very smooth and has got rid of all the knock,

however the fuel trims were out after the transient setting so i had to do a new fuel learn session and WOT learning session

I have also lost a little power, but this gives me scope to adjust the ignition settings hoping to get some of the power back without getting knock.

I also upped the rev limit to 7300 but i am not making any extra power over 7000RPM but i will leave it at 7300 to see if the new ignition settings help this.

Is the graph of 26th MArch with smaller injectors? That would explain the dramatic power drop @ 7000....

Was there a significant change in the original timing map @7000?

And it looks like you can still win a little around 6500 to fill that area, but no idea if you already have some knock retard there.

Nice power! thumbsup

I actually had quite a lot of knock retard from the base map which me and peter tried quite a lot of things to get rid of it, In the end I added around 3 degrees of advance and got rid of all knock, This current power run has around 0.2 of knock retard at 2300 revs which I'm putting down to the cams other than that there is no knock

I still have not found optimum ignition but for the time being I'm happy

Not bad at all with the 3.1 inch pulley. I hate to think what mine would be running at if I mess around with the ignition.

There might of been quite a bit of heat sink on that particular run as I spent a lot of time changing parameters and temps were high But I will be checking this after croft
