Maybe due to the current geo setup. What are you running? Always liked the 340R track setup myself.

I'm not sure what setup is on the car it's what I bought it with 2 years ago when the car had half the power it has now,
I've got some new toe links to go and I'm going for a aggressive geo

If anyone can tell me about my setup please do

Look like a standard setup. You definitely need more camber for tracking. The 340R Road and 340R Track setups are a good starting point. I'm running at 12-13cm as 10-11cm was too low and shredded wheel arches.  Good and quick steering wheel response and not tailhappy.

You have a copy of my geo sheet so get that done with an uprated arb then decide. If you are still not happy you have to look at shocks and tyres. All stuff you should of looked at before power IMO. I've said it to you a million times but you don't spend shed loads of money on the car then skimp on the one thing that had contact with the ground! Why not consider adding a big splitter etc if you really want to gain track corner speed? Reckon you are at the point where you have to decide wether you want a road car or a track car. Your car is a very capable road car!

Also the car now revs freely at all revs Even below 2000rpm when previously there seemed to be a lot of cam overlap up to 2000 So the car also needs a fuel learn session before national and a fine tune.

If you do the gear box conversion you will need a new flywheel , The one you have at present is a 6 bolt a 8 bolt is required with the Saab engine. I had a VVT made . Europa drive shafts £240 Each, Europa gear shift unit £499. Vocky can do a conversion on a turbo one.

Did you change anything particular, or just a decent fuel map learned...??

Yep big changes and mine is amazing to drive in 4 gear at 20mph where as before you had to be in second gear.

:yeahthat: :yeahthat: :yeahthat: :yeahthat: :yeahthat: :yeahthat:

Already done I hope, but just in case you forgot :D

BTW, looking at the geo sheet, to me it's not clear if your wheels are pointing in the right direction. If you're going for the more aggressive 340R track setting, front should be OUT by about 0.5 mm per side (your front is about 1 mm per side, but to me not clear in what direction. Should never be IN). Rear should be IN by about 2.0 to 2.5 mm per side. The car is very sensitive to toe setting and can be a real pig to handle if it's not set correctly.

Very nice car!!

that looks like front 'toe in' and rear 'toe out', which is crap  :P
