*You're selling up?!? Didnt you throw many a grand at the thing recently, with all the engine work!?
In answer to your question, its worth about £4/4500. I will give you £4250 for it, think thats pretty reasonable

Ding! Not had a problem with mine since I raised the height. Running too low puts too much strain on the short drive shaft inner gaiterI don't think ride heights help But it's always the passenger inner which goesWhy do the gaiters go is it because of extreme ride heights?

I doubt it will be getting replaced Not took this decision lightly but no longer have as much money to throw away these days and something has to give Probably end up putting it back to stage two and removing the Saab engine as I can't see it making anymore money being stage 3 Unless someone wants to pay a premium for itYour selling the vx220?!? What's next?

Why? They are mostly a weekend toy for most owners I know.I don't think ride heights help But it's always the passenger inner which goes more likely to be because it's a shorter drive shaft @ lee I'm going to get it sorted lee see you at snetterton Then I'm probably be selling up Due to lack of useWhy do the gaiters go is it because of extreme ride heights?

Why do the gaiters go is it because of extreme ride heights?
A few dutchies testing with making the thing breathable, suspecting heat buildup at high rpm.
To early for final conclusions though.
(this, or a wd40 straw or anything strong enough to withstand the band clip force)

A theory is that the gaitor is building up heat inside, causing earlier wear and tear then normal.
With a small straw like a wd40 one it can breathe just enough to get the heat out.
That´s the theory.
Problem is that the normal living period of a gaitor on a vx is not known, let alone one with a breather.
This is not something new, or vx specific:

If it help smiley my oem was put on 18 months ago it's now shredded around the middle section 3/4 of the way round
A 211 driving in the dutch super class races had to abandon the race after loosing his earlier this year.
And these cars are inspected intensely.
Very difficult to say when they go.

Work on Saturdays Martin but when it's up and running will text you and take you for a ride before she goesYou can't sell up yet I still haven't had a pax ride. Some times difficult to justify keeping these cars if not getting used much. Then you go for a drive and think there's no way am selling.
