You can't sell up yet I still haven't had a pax ride. Some times difficult to justify keeping these cars if not getting used much. Then you go for a drive and think there's no way am selling.

Work on Saturdays Martin but when it's up and running will text you and take you for a ride before she goes
Cheers

Whaaaaaat? I've just had these fitted. Had RS14s which lasted 15k miles including 6 track days before now so slightly concerned at that catastrophic pad consumption! I'm sure I've read ChrisUK reports on these pads saying he's driven 1000s of miles on RC5+ with several track days...

That sucks, I've been recommended an upgrade to RC5+ from my 1144 but not if that's the wear rate. You on track this weekend? I'm at llandow today.

I have run cl5+ and never had a wear rate like yours, something wrong there. What discs are you using? don't worry if they are cheap units I use cheap ones and ok you throw them away after 2.5 sets of pads but they do the job. Where did you purchase the pads from?

Running the grooves that way round will increase wear rates. They're meant to be the other way to expel gas and pad dust with the centrifugal force. I've heard people run them the way you have to get a better initial bite but £250 per track day in pad is a lot of money for a bit more bite!

Believe it or not the grooves run the other way on the other side of car but the vents between the two plates are pointing in the right direction The new discs are plain so I only have to look at internal direction
