Well I'm in a bit of a pickle

Changed pads to CL5+ before Anglesey came to bleed brakes today to find there is no pad left
Yes you heard right
1 track day used a full set of cl5+ pads

This now leaves me needing a set of track pads ASAP
Anyone no where I can pick some up from today ??

deffo something not right..

these are mine at the beginning of this year after i put them in in 2011 and did the anglesey trackday.

Your car lunched M1155s too, which I found very strange at the time.

And you have to take your foot off the middle pedal when you press the one on the right 😄

Left foot braking helps to get the car rotating into corners .

After snetterton yesterday and a few hours driving home reflecting on the day,

im not selling the car.

despite my issues yesterday i still enjoyed the day overall,

quick breakdown on the issues i had at snetterton,

Bad vibration from he from right wheel, checked steering rack etc with matt bentley, turned out to be my new front disc was not sitting right on the hub,

swapped the disc with the rear disc and all good at the front.

got vibration at rear of car, put this down to the disc i swapped from the front, went to local motor factors bought 2 more discs which  seated well ,

went out again and coming through the bomb hole there was a almightly bang and clunking, came in checked discs again which all seemed good,

let car cool down and went out again and after 5 or so laps clunking came back, with bad vibration not the same issue as before.

i was reluctant to go out again as this vibration was considerably worse than the original but thought i would try and diagnose the issue so went out again and all was good for 2 laps when it returned, came in and rested the car and grabbed a few passenger rides and set off home following Chris only to get vibration back straight away with over 200 miles to my front door things were not looking good

managed to limb home ready to diagnose the problem soon!!!!

any ideas people please

I suffered a really bad, banging/vibration on the way home from a track day, which turned out to be a failed wheel bearing. Really sounded like something metallic was banging around in the rear suspension area but couldn't find anything wrong.  It was less than 500 miles old and was exchanged by Autovaux afterwards.

Driveshaft CV joints can cause clunks, particularily when you accelerate.

It didn't feel like it was at the wheel more like in the transmission but will keep your comment in mind when I strip it down , Also after a stop for some food 20 mins or so the vibration disappeared for ten mins or so It only does it when the car is accelerating or under load Also at one point the car was pulling to the left also in my above Statement it was left passenger side not right

Are these the available gearboxes for the 2.2 vx TN, SF, or AH SG If there is anything else please say I also read with the 100s of threads on gearboxs on here that there might be some 6 speed f23 gearboxs which may work but were never confirmed If anyone has a link to ratios to the TN, SF, or AH. And SG gearboxes that would also be useful
