I would recommend welding it back in.

I'd say it's a pretty big problem, you won't be compressing much air as it'll be bleeding past the rotors.

I'd say it could be squared off but I would mark a straight line to the rotor and put it in a mill. Once straightened out it should be OK. I wouldn't weld it in as you'd likely have to line bore the case for the rotors again. Welding the case without deformation will be virtually impossible.

TBH I'd probably just junk it.

I don't see what spares you're going to get from it, the casing is matched to the rotors, and you'll damage all the bearings pulling them out, as well as the obvious point that new bearings are cheap so there's absolutely no point reusing them.

Supercharger kits are only worth the money they fetch because of the inlet manifold, the supercharger on it's own is worth very little, hence why I said junk it.

It might be OK if you straighten out the hole to match the rotors. That's essentially what porting them does. You can take off a few extra mm and lengthen the hole. It'll be fine.

A other half day on the car today,

Mmmmmm
The Harrop is a tight fit It's bloody close to the Tmap sensor which needed cutting and filing and also the charger gets very close to the Bit that the map sensor fits to ( closest to bulk head)

Posted Image

Also managed to snap one of the manifold bolts in the head so that slowed things up a bit, which led me to removing the manifold again,
I did get the fuel filter changed, dropped the oil and changed oil filter

Looks like I'm going have to do some uri fellow type spanner bending tomoz to get to the bolts at the back of the HARROP and also the injectors are really close to the charger

What I'm describing is simply the HArrop is to big for the vx

Any way I'll stick with it and see what other issues there will be

pig of a job I remember spending half a day, no joke, removing the stupid bolts at the back of the thing, get a baulkhead cutout sorted, saves so much time, also make certain you m8 the manifold bolts rather than m6
