Even if you don't get the idler pulley for a few weeks, you can still complete the majority of the conversion. In fact you could probably test start the thing to check it starts and runs for a brief period, as long as the battery has good charge. The SC will run via the bypass with the drive belt not fitted.

Yes your right
I can get it done, I just have to believe
I am a bit of a worrier at times for no reason

Me and George have spent a couple of hours on the VX today, We managed to get the charge cooler pipes in through the wheel arch so we didn't have to take of the front clam again And we also replaced the hand brake cable Idiot of the day award goes to me for adjusting the hand brake cable the wrong way And how sh*t are the adjuster brackets Does anyway have any future tips to get the old hand brake cable off without having to bend the brackets

Easy.. 1 - Undo front cable from handbrake-lever in passenger compartiment 2 - Pull front cable back a little, undo yoke under car that connects to rear cable 3 - Undo nuts, P-clips, etc. and remove rear cable No need to bend anything? Bye, Arno.

Not a bad job. Getting the circlip back in my pro alloy tank was a ball ache though! Have you extended the ECU wiring loom yet? Don't want all your parts to turn up and suddenly have no one apart from yourself to blame for it not running yet :poke:

Not doing that until everything is mounted so I can find the best place for ECU
