How much pressure am I likely to make

What boost or fuelpressure?

Stock fuelpressure is 3,8-4,0 barg base pressure. Add boost on top of that...

(Boost, try to keep it around 1,3- 1,4 barg @ max rpm, or you loose blower efficiency.)

I can't remember where I read it but isn't fuel pressure lower on the B207 fuel rail

Yes, 3.0 bar.

(but the newer stainless B207 rail is a bit tricky to fit. Use the Z22SE rail and if possible with raiser blocks and injector insulaors.

BIt if work on the car today,

I have ditched the idea of going straight in to the exhaust for the PCV system

I've gone to catch tank and put a filter on the inlet side

Posted Image

Drain and level indicator are all visible from the ear which should also keep the tank cool, to help seperation

Feel free to call me chickEn to do the exhaust thing

I think you are doing the right thing with your PCV system. The only thing I would say is the cheap catch cans (I have one) are pretty useless for separation due to the lack of internal baffles etc. You might want to consider one of the centrifugal separators used on BMW's (loads on ebay) with a return to the sump prior to the catch can. I think the Jaz cans are supposed to be OK but a bit dearer than I'd like. ETA: try putting the filter on the other side, it will help the oil mist condense into droplets which will be caught by the can. With it on the inlet side you could end up blowing oil don the inlet hose.

I'm going to put some baffles into the catch tank to aid separation along with Scourers in the bottom If the filter above catch tank discolours black ( oil ) I will be changing for something a bit more like the ones you speak off

Boost pressure will pressurise the crank case, you need it pre-charger to pull the crankcase fumes out.

That's the hole point of the catch tank with separators in the cool air fow To remove the oil residue

Yeah I've read the jegs system Luke Haggie is going to test one of them The problem with them is it only has a thimble size catch area for any oil

The problem with catch tanks is they catch condensation rather than oil
