The problem with catch tanks is they catch condensation rather than oil

Any fluid caught is a bonus as all you want going back in to the inlet is gasses

Ideally it needs emptying as soon as level is in the level indicator But it's urgent once the level gets to max line

BIt if work on the car today, I've gone to catch tank and put a filter on the inlet side Drain and level indicator are all visible from the ear which should also keep the tank cool, to help seperation

If its anything like the one i fitted and subsequently discarded, and the level pipe is pvc, it will probably soon discolour to the extent that the level will not be visible through it. May be worth making sure you can easily "dip" for the level whilst you are installing it.

I'm in a rush. It's others that aren't...

Going to the states next week, thought I might pick up a couple and save on import tax and shipping but that price seems pretty competitive.

Still a shitty Ginetta at the end of the day.

Sounds to me like you've done what I've done. Re-considered you're VX options and realised, that even if you spend big money, the VX is basically the answer to the meaning of life question. even if you spedn big money.

VX + budget should = epic.

VX buying price + that same budget = something similar, but not necessarily better.
