Let's look at this two ways. 4000 rpm in 2nd gear is about 40 mph, not enough to generate downforce, but where it starts to get bumpy. The bumps also fail to increase as speed increases, which is not what you would expect if you were seeing downforce.

Secondly, how much of these aero bolt on bits actually produce notable downforce?

So i'm not taking that as an excuse. It's either suspension setup/road issues causing the wheels to skip, problems with fueling/tb or signal noise, most likely from dubious grounding arrangements.

I can see why large aerodynamic mods could effect the power readings but not why they would give the wave effect unless it was causing lift! Power runs in second gear are too slow for aero mods to make any significant differance I would have thought.

It was only a Suggestion to the unusual lines chris has in his power run I didn't no if chris did his power runs in 3rd or second gear

The Dutch power graph solely relies on engine (revs) acceleration measurements. A lot of things will influence the final shape of the graph, but a very easy and powerfull tool to compare different engine settings on the same car.

Comparing the graphs of 2 cars is a different story... (even ride-height changes will affect a car's air resistance and thus the acceleration numbers)

I do mine in 3rd gear, you cant use 2nd. Also i dont recall my other graphs looking bumpy. My aero is identical to cliffies 2013 ta car.

I have had some strange shaped graphs on uneven roads. The trick is trying to find a straight flat piece of road. Also doing multiple runs so you get the average result. How is the mapping going Chill?

Hoping to have some maps and shizzle around my WMI when I finally get my car back and use of my left leg again. Be good to compare notes :)

Went to Oulton park today only 98.8 Db 🙏 Fueling is done and seems good just going to play with ignition now and try and get a logging session done

I say with optimized timing 350 can be done on an 80mm.

Of course much of that power will be gone once the sun comes out.

Let´s see.

I'm getting good at this guessing game

Also nice to see that the gap between base map and optimised can go up to 5% increase in power.

I've not finished yet but not expecting anymore top end power FYI inlet temps are 65 ish degrees on full chat but increase rapidly when letting off Stable when cruising 55-65 degrees Did a log but lost laptop before I saved it so will do it again

I use a bluetooth dongle and my Phone with torque to have a continuous look at it.

Top value on the phone: (best look on computer in high res to see properly)

(this is with a 3.1" M62 on a 2.0 B207 in summer)
