I would be surprised if the LS4 and new large filter didn't show more gains if George's Apexi is the same as your old one.
This would be nice

One step at a time
I know, i know.
But all this trouble shows the importance of breathing.
That did not get much attention so far on big power SC's.

It's a good example that for such power levels everything has to work properly together; Intake, blower, head, exhaust and the tune.
(ps, that Harrop needs more revs! )

Glad you enjoyed the ride Martin (congratulations )
Going to get the project up to date as its been a while
Fitted the LS4 last week sometime and all seemed to be going smooth until the car started to get to running temps the car started hunting and stalling on idle it ran fine whilst moving
after it stalled the car would not start again without repriming the fuel, after starting it again it would hunt again between 2000-3000 rpm before stalling and throwing some error codes
so the hunt was on to find the issue
thread here
http://www.vx220.org...n-harrop-users/
after a few ideas and speculations we started to make progress after showing our findings with Peter about the progress Peter sent me a file to try which seemed to work a treat
today i got the car working very well
ive not remapped or fine tuned the car yet and its still on Georges old apexi until my new filter gets delivered but as Martin idicated the car is as fast as its ever been by
quite a margin
so next steps before Angelsey national
1. Fit new filter
2. Full fuel learn &fine tune
3.power run
4.bleed brakes and give the car a once over for the track day
