About two thirds of the way through this now. Some really interesting stuff, especially the idea of a traction unit number. It's something I do without thinking under acceleration but had not even considered it under braking. Some really useful information in there, I can't wait to get back on track to test some of it out.

Although it does cover setup briefly (to allow driver to communicate what the result of the setup is) the main focus is improving the driver.

Talking about traction he said that if you're on a corner and you feel the grip going on the rear end, giving it more throttle will shift the weight rearwards and give you the grip you need. You gotta be a brave amateur to get that trial and error process started :unsure:

It's a fine book isn't it? its mostly common sense but the way he explains things is very easy to understand. You can look at track day video footage can clearly see mistakes unfolding throughout. I'm hoping I will have my car back soon!
