Truck/delivery drivers are creatures of habit and very often set routes, you should pass that way as often as possible and keep your eyes peeled. Also have a look for any dairy farms in the area.
Glad your reflexes were up to missing the a'hole and that you are ok...!
Yes, but merely being an identical looking truck at the same time 24 hours later is not enough. Unless you have a full registration and a witness, liability is near impossible to fix.

Glad your ok, could of been much worse, hope the copers treated you nicely and put you under the normal tests!
The police were superb. They closed the road for us whilst we tried to tow the car out of the ditch, and when that didn't work, we decided to drive the car through the field. They were really helpful, friendly, chatty and interested in the cars and our jobs etc. It was really nice to have them there to help. Also I'm not sure I'd want to be stood on the side of a dark, unlit 60mph road without the police car's flashing lights and cones!

Yeah, we went into the Sainsbury's just 100m down the road, but they told us they have had no deliveries at that time unfortunately.

Obviously..... But confront him and he might admit it.... An INCREDIBLY long shot I know but do nothing and there is zero possibility..... And there is whiteboy having the opportunity to have his say and tell the idiot what he thinks. Just having a bit of closure can help.
Everyone will have a different opinion on this I realise, up to white boy to decide if he can let it go or not.
Main thing is that he is alright...

Thanks for all the nice comments. I've replayed it 100 times in my head now and i still can't get over how lucky i was. Someone was looking out for me lol. Like everyone said the main thing is that no one was hurt. Think it's very unlikely i find the trucker now, Also even if i did find him and then get them to accept liability i'd still have to declare it to my insurance company that i'd been involved in an accident which would make my next policy stupid money.
think i'm just going to bite the bullet and repair it privately. There's not much damage. I'll take some photos and get them uploaded. I've woken up with no injuries this morning. Thought i may find some now the adrenaline has worn off but i feel fine!
Yes on another note the Police were absolutely brilliant! They made the incident safe but didn't rush me in to anything, they made me calm and gave me lots of options that didn't cost me loads of money! They even got me a quote to have the car picked up and put on a flatbed which i kindly declined at £160.
Grab yourself one of these puppies... Roadhawk

Also, it looks like your clam was once Calypso red under the blue anyway?
Yeah, it was a previous Cat C. Also caused by someone pulling out in front of the previous owner!! :@
