I have had one of these for years and wanted one for my daughters car but it took a fair while of searching to find roughly thatwhat was needed but it wasnt that clear even then. To save other people time, its a Valeo vm15. Cost under £10. Very easy to fit (you just need some extra clear piping and a small tie wrap) and a good mod. If for some reason you dont like Valeo blades and wipers (mines been fine for years), its a 24 inch (600mm) blade, on the back it says its to fit Opel Movano and Renault Espace 2 (91-96) Renault Master 97. my elise shop wiper blade is shit, very shit. it misses a nice big circle right in the middle of the screen. this has rarely been an issue, since i've only ever used the wiper about twice. but caught out in le mans last year in a shower i was less than impressed.

You sure that's not just as a result of you polishing the glass too much? :P I've had an Espace blade and spray bar (and have recommended it dozens of times on here, if you'd searched, Martin :D ) on the car for years and it works a treat. Much better than any of the useless aero blades and the waste of money designer PIAA silicone blades that need you to continuously clean your screen by hand to make them work properly.

Hi Martin, This is very helpful advice. Mt standard wiper has always been sh*t and misses / smears on the screen which isnt helpful. Ive searched the item you reccomend and have found them available on Amazon for less than £13. Can you please confirm that this fits the standard hook stle OEM fitting before I buy? I was confused that you may be referring to a replacement blade for the Elise Parts retrofit arm? Thanks in advance, Jon

Reminded me, I did this mod on one of my S1 elises, had totally forgotten about it until now. Might do this on the VX as I bought a new blade last year but don't like it much, wouldn't mind ditching that and makes sense to add something more useful at the same time.

I did search many many items and knew it was for an espace (techieboy gave me my origional one) but couldnt confirm what year exactly. It is a a good mod, use clear piping and all will be well. Martin s

Ahhh, yes, I remember that now. Wasn't I also supposed to give you a hand fitting it, on a French trackday trip, as well? :beat:

To be honest because the Elise Parts mod works so well I did not mind paying dough. Brilliant!! Kind regards, Paul

I'm happy to pay for good things and the vimeo one is great and a double bonus being under £10 at my local car parts place. Just keep your original fitting thing. Martin s

Halfords do it and the joiner, if you elect to use one. I got black hose from fleaBay.

Black hose will look better. The clear stuff i got from Halfords has gone quite hard and a bit of a nasty colour where it's exposed to the weather.

Yup, clear PVC will go hard and crack with age, plus it's a pain to pull off. ideally you'll want 4mm silicone hose. Available in different colours but usually translucent white

Yep, that's what I got. Black 4mm ID silicone vacuum hose, I think it was called on the listing.
