Ive switched from Admiral multicar to Aviva multicar policy and saved £172. My VX is pretty much standard though. £398 for both.

Managed to get a good deal with LV. Saved a few hundred from Tesco who decided to hike their prices after me being a loyal customer for a year...shop around and confused.com is a good place to start

So come on Si, have you started to play the game yet and get your premium down?

Haven't had chance yet, way too busy at work  . I'll probably start on comparison sites since it doesn't take that long to fill in, then when I get my £9000 quotes like last year I'll start calling the usual lot.

If you can limit mileage on the vx, classic line is the way to go. £440 SDCP 5000 mile limit. Good thing is they don't factor NCB, so I'm currently able to insure 2 cars for what elephant wanted for just insuring the vx!

When I spoke to Classic Line they were a bit vague on track days. Said the occasional club track day might be OK. Did you get a more concrete deal out of them?

Posted earlier about the saving I got when Aviva quoted me to add the VX to my wife's policy and make it a multicar. Renewal came through from Adrian Flux at £675. Phoned to tell them not to auto-renew and that I had been quoted over £300 cheaper elsewhere. They matched it. Great service, but how much of a mug do they take me for if they can just take £300 off the renewal in the blink of an eye?

Just got ours insured on an Admiral multicar policy - £390, for a 24 year old with 3 years NCD, SDCP at 12k a year. Pleased with that considering I couldn't get the specialists to even provide a quote based on my age or the mileage. Biggest shocker was they quoted in the region of £720 for the renewal price yet were able to quote online for £440. Always good to phone around even it means a million phone calls later!

Just about to renew with Admiral MultiCar. Bill for 2 cars £1350. Just realized a problem with using MultiCar, the bill for both cars comes in at the same time... If you are wondering why so high, mine is is a soso area, with commuting and business use. Still seems cheaper than everyone else based on confused.com.

My box standard NA was £135 per annum with MoreThan when I first got it on a 6k limit. Fcuking useless when it came to anything other than standard and they almost broke down in tears when I mentioned trackdays. £407 for 4k or 5k miles with agreed value and 6 trackdays with CCI.
