yep but I want it to look OkI just got a sheet of Aluminium and bent one edge using a vice and a few peices of wood. Looks spot on and cost £5.
no all home madeIs there actually a part available? Thought they were all a bit "home made"?

Arguably you dont...that hole is not how the pump got there in the first place.
Nah, I think it's only there for connecting up the wiring and the fuel lines. No way the pump gets in or out of that hole.

please tell me your not cutting the chassis hole out?
you do realise that this is an intrinsic part of the chassis and that cutting it is massively compromising the tub don't you?
Are you going to replace Cliffies tub then?

no, that's exactly NOT what to do.I best bolt a steel bar across it then.
look up stressed skins, and why folded structures are designed the way they are, then look at the tub and try and understand what that section of it is doing.
