there never will be a verdict.. too many brains offering different opinions..
end of the day we have a hole, exige / europa or whatever has more holes, some square which was deemed bad, but lotus did this from factory..
decide your self if you can be bothered taking the tank out to replace the pump, if you cant make the hole larger avoiding square edges.
