I've used spread tow carbon (2 layers with one at 45 degrees) with 3d core. The skins are paper thin so the rigidity comes from the core. I used 3d core for the honeycomb structure and I haven't felt anything this stiff since I facebooked Joes mum

NSFG = Not safe for gigo :)/>
The reality of these is that they would be too expensive to lose that 1kg and people probably wouldn't accept the print through of the core material on the inside. I did it to have a play. I think there's 8m of cloth, 1.5kg of resin, 50m of tape and £50 of core. Materials cost comes in at around £350. Add labour and its probably double so making more would be unrealistic.

As for Gigo that flag would have just drawn him in.
