I have sourced a manufacter near me who makes GRP seats for VX220 and Lotus, The finnish seems quite good Gel coat finnish in Black or White , These will fit on the OEM seat runners. All that has to be done is to drill four mounting holes for fitting to the seat frame,
They come with harness slots, and velcro stick on padding in Black if required. £140 including padding per seat
. The mould shape is the Lotus seat motor sport version.
I hope to have a couple of photos soon.

I'd just be a bit careful to check on the construction around the seatbelt buckles with them being weight bearing in a crash. Get the specs off them and run them by FLD. I must admit seats is on my list with crash boxes that I would be wary of doing them! I'm sure they will be fine but they should be reinforced a lot round the fixings.
To be honest as long as the seatbelt does what it is supposed to it doesn't matter what happens to the seat.

This company makes a composite crash box for the Eliese I think they sell for about the £150 mark ,Most of his parts go on to the race boys
