I know it's not going to be easy with something so small and have to give them a little bit of leeway, but I think there could be a few changes to improve it.

Absolutely, hence suggesting the mold maker looks/feels a scale model, like the fairly common maisto 1/18 one.

I've just sent them a email saying it needs more work and if they want me to send them a model ( has anyone got the smallest model vx I could borrow to send to them?) I was expecting the same detail as what's on the lotus cufflinks so I've put that across to them.

Right had a reply back and they have agreed to the model idea. Has anyone got a model they could send them? It would be better to send them the 1/60 size one as I think it's the smallest model they do. If know one has one il try and buy one from somewhere.

I think I have a keyring at home with a model of a vx220 on it and is roughly twice the size of the cufflinks. I'll see if I can find it after work and if you pm me either your address or their address I'll post it over to them.

Not sure what the details on the key ring one is like? but if it helps the offers there!
