"i'd probably go for a bit of tigerseal
should be fine with the heat and plenty strong"

I was gonna try this............

It's black, heat resistant (unless your engine is on really on fire) flexible, and easy to get off if you need to. Not sure tigerseal would do the job?

I finally lost mine today. The first time i had it stuck down with tiger seal but after a track day it came off with the heat but was lucky enough for it to sitting next to the fuel rail. So i stuck back on with some more heat resistance stuff and its came off again today and its nowhere to be seen.

RIP

So that's a big no for Tigerseal then....... What was the other stuff you stuck it on with? Was it similar to what I'm going to use? I guess you'll find another rattle on the car that will end up being your plate stuck somewhere! Lol.

Hi, Put me down for VX220 engine plate if you have any left. I have also asked for a water expansion cover, you can post both together. Advise payment details.

Cheers...........Bob

Any update on if you got this and if it worked...? Thanks Paul

Did we come to a consensus on how best to stick this on?

I presume to fit I need to unbolt everything off the top and it slips underneath?

Well, the stuff I got from ebay is still holding it down. Luke lost his plate but don't know what he used. Tigerseal doesn't work!

I just put mine on last night with some evo stick impact, see how that goes, good for 100 degrees apparently will give the car a run and check to see how its doing
