I thought the wheel hub was not too tougher job?
Not at all hard, if it's a front hub that needs replacing. Only three or maybe four bolts to undo, once the wheel and brake disk are off.

There you go Stevo :: I reckon collectively we could help out mate. Clearly the chain requires adult intervention but we could have a crack at the hub

Yep, definitely not one to tackle unless you know what you're doing. I've seen it done twice on my engines and theres still no way I'd try it.

I'd have only paid for the chain to be replaced. The rest of them are straightforward DIY jobs, though slightly awkward in the case of the steering rack.
Steering rack and shock collars have been done by PSR mate.
I am going to have to attempt a timing, balance chain and OSR hub only.
Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

Happy to lend a hand with a jack and torque wrench. I'm sure we can change it between our two brain cells.
Thanks Stu. I make a mean cuppa too.

That was exactly what I had planned. I had enough in the budget to do the rack and the chain, but the shock collars blew that apart, £400+!! Now I don't have anywhere near the amount for PSR to do the chain. Might just about be able to get the parts at a push.

The only run it's had this year is to PSR last Wednesday!! Just spent £154 taxing the bloody thing too. I might as well chop that in.
